The Nike Copper Foamposite was released on Feb. 13th, 2010. These were a highly anticipated shoe, and had a price tag of 200 USD, however for any sneaker collector getting these for 200 was only a fraction for what resellers charge. These sold out very quickly across the country and Nike did re-release them a week later. The copper foamposite is a mix of metallic copper and black. The entire shoe is this foamposite material with the copper color, while on the eyelids and laces they have the black. The Nike checks and penny logos are copper and on the soles of the shoes they have the clear gum bottom with a blue tint. They also have the carbon fiber on the bottom and sides of the shoe.
Overall this is a very beautiful shoe and will definitely catch peoples eyes. These are also a very nice shoe to wear, for as you continue to wear them, the foamposite material will start to hug your foot and form to your foot. This is what makes the foamposites so special, and that is also why I like to call them the "sock".
